CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Akron women's soccer team scored three unanswered second-half goals, and four different players scored their first career goals in an Akron uniform to come from behind and defeat Cleveland State, 4-2, on Sunday afternoon at Krenzler Field.
"We showed a lot of character coming from behind. We started off very well with a great goal by Catie (Corrigan), but we got sloppy and gave away two goals in a matter of two minutes. We can't put ourselves in that situation but I give a lot of credit to the girls for coming back," said head coach Noreen Herlihy.
