OXFORD, Ohio – The Akron women's swimming and diving team broke its third MAC record in as many days on Friday night at the Corwin Nixon Aquatic Center on the campus of Miami (Ohio).
In the final event of the night, the 400 medley relay, the team of senior Luka Szynal (Lublin, Poland), junior Paloma Marrero Munoz (Merida, Spain), sophomore Sadie Fazekas (Windsor, Ontario) and sophomore Madison Myers (Akron, Ohio) took first place with a blazing time of 3:34.39, which marks the 23rd fastest time in the nation this season.
