Cleveland, Ohio – Spectrum Sports Network selected the rematch between the Akron Zips and Miami RedHawks as the one of the last Mid-American Conference wildcard games, the league announced on Wednesday.
The Akron-Miami rematch will be aired on Spectrum on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. from the James A. Rhodes Arena. In addition, Akron will recognize its seniors for Senior Night prior to the game and will serve as the Zips' final regular-season home contest.
The time change marks the seventh MAC wildcard selection for the Zips. The change also guarantees Akron to play 16 televised games during the regular season.
