Youngstown, Ohio – For the second straight year, the Akron women's golf leads the Roseann Schwartz Invitational after 18-holes of play, firing a 7-over par 295 team total. Currently, the Zips own a 14-stroke lead over runner-up Oakland (309, +21) at Youngstown Country Club on Monday.

"This golf course requires trust off the tee and on the greens," Zips' head coach Jenny King said. "Overall, we did exactly what we needed to do to put ourselves in a good position for the final round. We need to maintain the right focus and rely our game plan the rest of the way.
