CLEVELAND, Ohio –As part of the Mid-American Conference television package, the Akron-Kent State men's basketball game scheduled for March 3 has been selected as MAC wildcard game for national television broadcast by ESPN2, the league announced on Thursday.
The second scheduled Crystal Clinic Wagon Wheel Challenge game remains on the original scheduled date and is to be aired by ESPN2 on Friday, March 3, at 9 p.m. ET from the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center in Kent, Ohio.
Earlier this month the MAC announced that ESPN, the worldwide leader in sports, has selected the first installment of the Akron-Kent State rivalry to be aired by ESPNU on Friday, Feb.
