AKRON, Ohio – Zips' Athletics has upgraded its in-game live-scoring application for mobile devices.
When using a mobile phone or tablet, fans may access in-game statistics more easily at www.Akronstats.com. The app can then be downloaded to the desktop and access will be one-touch for future contests.
The new system currently enhances home game stats for basketball and softball. In the fall, the system will work for football, soccer, and volleyball.
Access to in-game live stats through a computer remains the same: click the "Live Stats" link on the sport schedule or preview story for immediate access.
