AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron women's volleyball team is set to compete in three spring exhibition tournaments, Zips' second-year head coach Tom Hanna announced this week.
Akron returns 13 letterwinners to its 2016 roster, including the Zips' top two hitters from last season in senior Amanda Bedell (Hudson, Ohio) and junior Anna Wenger (Landisville, Pa.). Defensively, UA also returns seniors Brenna Mack (Mound, Minn.) and Callie Mack (Mound, Minn.
