AKRON, Ohio – The Akron women's tennis team will try to extend its current 10-match winning streak with a pair of road matches on Saturday, March 4.
The Zips will battle Illinois-Chicago at Match Point Tennis in Griffith, Ind. at Noon ET before heading to Valparaiso, Ind., to play the Valparaiso Crusaders on The Courts of Northwest Indiana at 6 p.m. ET.
Akron has won 10 straight matches for the first time since taking 12 in a row to begin the 2012 campaign.
Head coach Brandon Padgett's squad sits at 11-2 on the season, while UIC is 5-3 and Valparaiso is 0-6.
