Cleveland, Ohio – The Akron Zips women's golf team placed three golfers on the Mid-American Conference All-Academic team as senior Alejandra Velasco-Villanueva (Guadalajara, Mexico), junior Mallory Etcheberry (Wesley Chapel, Fla.), and sophomore Danielle Nicholson (Geneva, Ohio) earned Academic All-MAC honors, the league announced Thursday.
"I'm very happy for Alejandra, Mallory, and Danielle to be named Academic All-MAC," head coach Jenny King said.
