Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. – The University of Akron women's golf team wrapped up play at the RedTail Golf Club and will enter its second tournament of the spring trip, the UC Bearcat Spring Classic hosted by the University of Cincinnati. The three-day event will begin on Friday, March 25 and conclude on Sunday, March 27.
The Zips will play the 54-hole tournament at Mission Inn Resort and Country Club's El Campeon Golf Course in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. The El Campeon is one of the South's oldest golf courses and blends unusual Central Florida elevation changes of more than 85 feet with features of traditional golf design, including spectacular rolling fairways and undulating greens.
