SACRAMENTO, Calif. – University of Akron junior Jackie Siefring (Covington, Ohio) opened her run in the women's heptathlon at the USATF (United States of America Track and Field) Outdoor National Championships on Saturday, June 24, registering a four-event cumulative score of 3,322 to direct the efforts of current and former Zips on the day.
Siefring will enter final-day competition in 13th place with the long jump (2 p.m. ET), javelin (3 p.m. ET) and 800 meters (4:28 p.m. ET) remaining on Sunday, June 25.
