ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Akron track and field team registered three victories and 29 top-five performances to wrap up the Zips' efforts at the Spec Towns Invitational hosted by the University of Georgia on Saturday, April 8.
The marks for Akron came against a competitive field that included No. 6 Georgia and No. 19 South Carolina in the men's field and No. 7 Georgia and No. 23 South Carolina on the women's side. Additionally, Clemson competed in the Spec Towns Invitational.
Senior Ariadna Ramos Gandia (Barcelona, Spain) captured the women's triple jump with a jump of 41-0.
