KANSAS CITY, Mo. - University of Akron men's soccer redshirt sophomore Tyler Sanda (North Royalton, Ohio) has been named the recipient of the NCAA Elite 90 award for the 2015 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship it was announced at the NCAA College Cup banquet on Thursday evening, Dec. 10.
In its seventh year, the award recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.
