AKRON, Ohio – A program-best 11 student-athletes are set to represent the University of Akron track and field program at this week's NCAA Outdoor Championships this Wednesday, June 8, through Saturday, June 11, at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

"I feel like this is the best team we have taken to nationals," Akron head coach Dennis Mitchell commented.
