Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. – After the second round of the UC Bearcat Spring Classic, freshman Danielle Nicholson (Geneva, Ohio) maintained the share of a one-stroke lead with Seminole State's Cynthia Bounleutay, 149 (+5), while the Akron Zips women's golf team slipped to second with a 629 (+53) 36-hole total.
Nicholson carded a 76 (+4) to remain at the top of the leaderboard while the Zips followed the first round 313 (+25) with a 316 (+28) to trail Cincinnati (hosts) by three strokes heading into Sunday's final round at Mission Inn Resort and Country Club's El Campeon Golf Course.
