EUGENE, Ore. - Clayton Murphy (New Paris, Ohio) moved one step closer towards his Olympic dream capturing the second and final semifinal heat of the 800 meters at the United States Olympic Track and Field Trials on Saturday, July 2, at historic Hayward Field.
"Clayton ran cool and calm getting himself in a good position to win his semifinal heat," Akron head track and field coach Dennis Mitchell.
