PHOTO GALLERY COLUMBUS, Ohio - Olympic Bronze Medalist and former University of Akron track and field All-American Clayton Murphy was recognized with resolutions in both the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the Ohio State Capitol Building. Honored first in the Ohio Senate by Senators Bill Beagle (R-Tipp City) and Tom Sawyer (D-Akron) was Murphy. Beagle from Murphy's home county (Darke) and Sawyer from Akron commented on commitment to Murphy's athletic and academic achievements before turning the microphone over to Murphy to address the Ohio Senate.
