2017 USTFCCCA NCAA DI OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD REGIONAL AWARDS RELEASE
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The University of Akron men's track and field team continued to reap the rewards for its 2017 campaign as head track and field coach was recognized by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as the recipient of the Great Lakes Regional Coach of the Year accolades.
"I have a great staff and this award is a recognition of all their efforts," Mitchell commented. "Many of them have been with me for several years and they deserve the accolades as well.
