Silver Lake, Ohio – Junior Pader Her (Holt, Mich.) recorded Akron's first-ever hole-in-one as the Zips finished the Mid-American Conference Championships sixth overall with a 929 (+65) 54-hole total at Silver Lake Country Club on Sunday.
On the sixth hole, Her stepped up to the ball and, after a couple of practice swings and checking the wind on the elevated 185-yard, par-3, decided to club down for the shot.
