MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES OF THE WEEK RELEASE
CLEVELAND, Ohio - University of Akron track and field standouts senior Alex McCune (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and juniors Daniella Johnson (Gahanna, Ohio) and Clayton Murphy (New Paris, Ohio) were tabbed by the Mid-American Conference as the MAC Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
McCune was named the MAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week after capturing the heptathlon (5,681) title at the Akron Invitational last Saturday, Feb.
