AKRON, Ohio– University of Akron President Matthew J. Wilson and Director of Athletics Larry Williams introduced John Groce as the Zips' next men's basketball head coach on Thursday at the Student Union.
Groce's appointment is effective immediately, pending approval by the University's Board of Trustees.
