2017 ACADEMIC ALL-MAC WOMEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD RELEASE
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University of Akron women's track and field squad earned 14 selections when the Mid-American Conference released its 2017 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC team on Wednesday, May 31.
In all, a total of 170 student-athletes were named to the women's team including; seniors Weronika Gaudyn (Kracow, Poland), Michalla Gordon (Wadsworth, Ohio), Ana Martin-Sacristan (Valencia, Spain), Tara Snipes (Covington, Ohio) and Becky Szabo (North Olmsted, Ohio), redshirt junior Rebecca Pietsch (Dusseldorf, Germany), junior Jackie Siefring (Covington, Ohio), redshirt sophomores Mackenzie Andrews (Toowoomba, Australia) and Elizabeth Mosier (Austintown, Ohio) and sophomores Morgan Buckley (Warren, Ohio), Cynthia Haas (Tallmadge, Ohio), Tarike Osuobeni (Columbus, Ohio), Dara Perry (Akron, Ohio) and Olivia Snyder (Navarre, Ohio).
