MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES OF THE WEEK RELEASE
CLEVELAND, Ohio - University of Akron track and field standouts senior Alexis Cooks (Colorado Springs, Colo.), junior Daziah Green (Canton, Ohio) and sophomore Terrell McClain (Youngstown, Ohio) were tabbed by the Mid-American Conference as the MAC Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Cooks was named the MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week after establishing a new school record in the shot put en route to winning the event at the Zips Invitational last Friday, Feb.
