Jatavis Brown Video Highlights
CHICAGO, Ill.– Akron senior linebacker Jatavis Brown (Belle Glade, Fla.) was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the fifth round (175th pick overall) of the 2016 National Football League Draft on Saturday.
Brown became the 16th Zip in school history to be drafted into the NFL and the first draftee since 2008 [CB Reggie Corner, the 15th pick of the fourth round (114th pick overall) by the Buffalo Bills].
"I'm just happy to be a part of the Chargers' organization," Brown said.
