Baylis Records an Opening Round 76 at the 2016 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship

Kohler, Wisc. – Zips' sophomore George Baylis (Ascot, England) made the program's third all-time individual appearance for the NCAA Men's Golf Championships at the Kohler Regional on Monday. Baylis finished the initial 18-holes of the 54-hole event ranked 62nd overall with a 76 (+4) effort at the par 72, 7,123-yard Blackwolf Run Meadow Valleys Course in Kohler, Wisc.

"George played well from tee to green today," Zips' head coach David Trainor said. "Unfortunately, he made three bad swings which cost him a few strokes. I expect him to continue his solid play and capitalize on opportunities that he creates.
