MUNCIE, Ind. – After a scoreless first half, Ball State was able to score the games lone goal in the 54' as the Zips come up just short to the reigning 2015 MAC regular season champions, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon.
"Ball State is one of the premier teams in the MAC. We put out a good performance today but just came short of the result," said head coach Noreen Herlihy. "It was a tough opening weekend on the road against two top-tier teams, but we are pleased with the performance of our players. The only difference today is they finished their opportunity.
