The Zips have won four-straight games and look to continue their success at the Rebel Spring games this weekend, March 5-6, in Kissimmee, Fla.
At the first day of the two-day tournament, Akron will play Sacred Heart at 11:15 a.m. followed by a 3:45 p.m. game with Niagara.
On Sunday, March 6, the Zips go head-to-head with a Big East opponent, Creighton, at 9 a.m. and wrap up the tournament facing-off against South Dakota St.. First pitch is set for 11:15 a.m.
After a slow start to the season, the Zips offense has awoken from its slump and the Akron pitching staff has thrown quality innings to help the Zips get back on track and win four-straight as they head into the Rebel Spring Games this weekend, March 5-6, in Kissimmee, Fla.
