Kannapolis, N.C. – The Akron Zips men's golf team finished The Cabarrus County Irish Creek Collegiate in 13th place after posting a 303 (+19) en route to an 888 (+34) team total on Sunday.
The Zips recorded rounds of 291 (+7), 292 (+8), and 303 (+19) at The Club at Irish Creek, a par 71 course that spans 7,099 yards, while North Florida claimed team honors with a 14-under par 838 tournament total. Florida State's Cristobal Del Solar earned medalist honors with an 8-under 205 total, while teammate Josh Lee earned runner-up with a 7-under 206 54-hole performance.
