The New York Mets have agreed to trade veteran reliever David Robertson to the Miami Marlins for a pair of minor leaguers, sources confirmed to ESPN on Thursday night.
Second baseman Marco Vargas and catcher Ronald Hernandez, a pair of Rookie League players in Miami's organization, head to New York to complete the trade, according to sources.
Robertson, 38, has 14 saves and a 2.05 ERA this season for a Mets team that is 48-54.
