Virginia Tech rides defense to beat Boston College, end two-game skid

Virginia Tech snapped its two-game losing streak while sending Boston College to its fifth straight defeat in a 26-10 win Saturday at Alumni Stadium. The Hokies forced four turnovers on the day, making life tough for BC quarterback John Fadule, who had some impressive spurts at times but could not get the Eagles’ offense to move consistently.
