UNC Guard Cameron Johnson Will Have Surgery to Repair Knee Injury

North Carolina guard Cameron Johnson will be out of action for the time being after undergoing knee surgery on Wednesday.

Per North Carolina's athletic website, Johnson suffered a torn meniscus during practice on Nov. 13 and was having surgery to repair the injury at UNC Medical Center.

A timetable for Johnson's return will be established after he is out of surgery, per the school's athletic website.

"I'm extremely disappointed for Cameron," North Carolina head coach Roy Williams said in the release. "The young man has been working hard to blend in with our team after being such a productive college player the last two-plus seasons.
