The sports world was blindsided by the death of mixed martial artist and formal viral sensation Kimbo Slice.
Slice, born Kevin Ferguson, passed away Monday after being hospitalized for undisclosed reasons in Margate, Florida earlier in the day. There is still no word on what caused his passing.
Slice last competed for Bellator MMA in February of this year. Scott Coker, Bellator's CEO, released a statement regarding the passing of the star.
