North Carolina senior cornerback Malik Simmons will miss the first two games of the 2015 season as a result of two misdemeanor court cases.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina senior cornerback Malik Simmons has been suspended for the first two games of the 2015 season following the adjudication of two misdemeanor court cases in Orange County on Thursday morning.
The first two games of UNC's 2015 season are against South Carolina and NC A&T.
“Malik’s actions did not meet the standards of the Carolina football program and he will serve a significant penalty as a result,” said head coach Larry Fedora.
