Coach Mark Richt calls Brad Kaaya the face of the Miami program, a tremendous leader and as good a representative for the school as there is.
These are all true statements. Kaaya, a junior, has been nothing short of terrific both on and off the field since he became the Hurricanes' starting quarterback as a true freshman. He has said all the right things, done all the right things, passed for a boatload of yards, and treated people the right way.
Yet now that Kaaya is faced with the biggest decision of his young career -- whether to return to school or head to the NFL draft -- Richt has decided to shield his QB from answering questions in Orlando, Florida, before Miami's matchup versus West Virginia in the Russell Athletic Bowl on Wednesday afternoon.
