Has coach Dave Doeren mentioned that NC State would’ve won 10 games with a better kicker? The struggles in close contests are obviously more nuanced than that, but Doeren does have a point. The kicking game was so bad that it changed the entire complexion of the Wolfpack’s season and forced significant adjustments to offensive strategy. Finding someone who can put the ball through the uprights is job No. 1 this offseason.
