Planning for success: Clemson gets wake-up call before Florida State

Heather Dinich, Brett McMurphy and Adam Rittenberg explain why Clemson's success is no fluke and how they have been the most complete team so far this college football season.

The special teams struggled badly.

The defense allowed more than 30 points in a game, much more, for the first time all season.

Every time Clemson thought it had put NC State away, the Wolfpack came sprinting back, two teams exchanging body blows again and again until the Tigers finally emerged.

This was not the game Clemson had expected, and it's not the form that's likely to beat Florida State on Saturday.
