Pittsburgh's James Conner finishes chemotherapy treatment

Pittsburgh running back James Conner promised he would fight and ultimately defeat cancer when he was diagnosed in the fall. He reached another milestone in his battle.

The former ACC Player of the Year completed his 12th and final chemotherapy session Monday to combat the Hogdkin lymphoma he was diagnosed with on Thanksgiving Day 2015. His first treatment was Dec. 8.

Conner will await the results from doctors in the coming weeks.

Conner, who rushed for 1,765 yards and 26 touchdowns as the 2014 ACC Player of the Year, vowed to play this upcoming season.
