Now this is more like it. Although most hoop fans in the Crescent City knew that Alvin Gentry & the Pelicans weren't going to lose all 82 games, they were definitely worried. The Pels, whose record had steadily improved in each of the last 4 seasons, was suddenly heading backwards. After starting the year with 6 straight less-than-impressive losses, fans were becoming desperate for that elusive first win. The losing streak may be over, but hold your breath...AD suffered a hip injury.
