Jacoby Brissett was sharp once again, completing 18-of-27 passes as NC State charged to its seventh win in its last eight games, topping Old Dominion 38-14. Meanwhile, NC State teamed running backs Matt Dayes and Shadrach Thornton for the first time this season, and the duo combined for 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
What the win means for NC State: It’s business as usual for the Wolfpack, who open 3-0 for the second straight year.
