Nyheim Hines played football, ran a little track, played more football, then ran more track in perhaps the busiest year any freshman had on the NC State campus this past year.
Tired? Yes. Fulfilled? Absolutely.
Hines just completed a remarkable year, taking home All-America honors in both sports at a school that has embraced two-sport athletes, from Ted Brown to Manny Lawson. Even with that history, the NC State athletic department says Hines "could be considered the first two-sport All-American in the history of the Wolfpack football program."
