The Boston College Eagles basketball team has lost five games in a row, but that is the least of the team’s concerns given a report from Eric Hoffses of SB Nation's BC Interruption regarding the health of some of the players.
According to Hoffses, Boston College coaches confirmed the reason some players missed a loss to UMass Lowell on Sunday was E. coli. A coach said eight players on the team are “confirmed to have E. coli.”
David Wade of WBZ said that “several student-athletes have gastrointestinal symptoms. All had eaten at Chipotle in Cleveland Circle.
