2015: 8-5 (5-3 ACC)
Optimism has returned to Coral Gables, Florida, now that Miami Hurricanes alum Mark Richt has taken over the program following years of mediocrity. Richt averaged nearly 10 wins per season during his 15 years as Georgia's coach; Miami has not won 10 games since 2003. So it is easy to see why fans and administrators expect the Hurricanes to be back in the national championship picture relatively quickly.
Miami returns star quarterback Brad Kaaya and will have a new, more aggressive defensive scheme that looks to capitalize on the talent returning -- particularly up front.
