Louisville's late collapse could loosen Lamar Jackson's grip on Heisman

Nobody in the ACC ended the season quite the way Louisville did. After its long-shot playoff hopes vanished in a loss to Houston, the Cards came home as 27-point favorites against rival Kentucky. A bounce-back was all but certain.

Until it wasn’t.

Louisville lost to the Wildcats for the first time since 2010, and the first time under coach Bobby Petrino -- the only ACC team to lose to its SEC rival on the final weekend of the regular season. It was an almost incomprehensible way to end, considering how well the first 11 weeks had gone.
