LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville cornerback Jaire Alexander ran the fastest 40 time on the team during spring testing, a fact he responded to with a shoulder shrug.
“I feel like I could have gone faster,” Alexander conceded.
Has he ever gone any faster?
“No, that was my fastest time, but it could have been faster,” he said with a grin.
Alexander ran the 40 in 4.32 seconds, a time that would have ranked him fourth overall in the recently completed NFL combine. No one can blame Alexander for wanting to go faster.
