Duke athletic director Kevin White doesn't expect head basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski to leave the sidelines anytime soon despite a recent series of health concerns.
Laura Keeley and Andrew Carter of the News & Observer reported Coach K underwent hernia repair surgery Monday after getting a left knee replacement last month. After his most recent procedure, the longtime coach sent White a message that stated: "I'm good."
The school's AD wouldn't expect anything less. The 69-year-old head coach took over the Blue Devils in 1980, meaning his stint with the program will be more than four decades long when his current contract expires in 2020-21.
