Pittsburgh Panthers head basketball coach Kevin Stallings took aim at Louisville's recent scandal involving alleged improper payments to prized recruit Brian Bowen's father during a verbal altercation with a fan at the KFC Yum! Center on Tuesday night.
According to WHAS 11's Whitney Harding, Stallings shouted, "At least we don't play our players 100 thousand dollars," during his team's 77-51 road loss to the Cardinals.
Stallings later explained why he was frustrated.
"Somebody said something bad about my players," he said, according to WDRB's Eric Crawford. "I'm just going to stick up for my players.
