Thursday afternoon, Adam Zagoria broke the news that 2016 4-star guard Kevin Huerter is down to 8 schools.
Jimmy Hart, Huerter’s AAU coach, told SNY.tv that Kevin will officially visit Villanova (Aug. 30-31), Maryland (Sept. 4-6), Michigan (Sept. 12-14) and Notre Dame (Sept. 24-26).
Despite only offering the 6-foot-6 combo-guard a 2017 scholarship, Syracuse remained in the mix for quite a while. In the beginning of the summer, it looked as if the Orange would land a visit from Huerter and his family.
