Kermit and Bobo: Florida State receivers putting on a show

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- When asked last year how he would replace 6-foot-5 receiver Kelvin Benjamin, Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher suggested circus acrobatics. He theorized he could just stack Kermit Whitfield or Bobo Wilson on top of the other one's shoulders.

Whitfield is the shortest scholarship player on Florida State, listed at 5-foot-8. Wilson will be the second shortest Seminole on the field Saturday at 5-10. "Kermit and Bobo" sounds like a small-time tandem circus act, so stacking one on top of the other could have been a niche stunt. Just saying there's an on-campus big top at Florida State, too.
