Are the Knicks a few players away from being a postseason contender again?
Do the New York Knicks have any chance at a postseason berth next season? Phil Jackson thinks so. In an interview with WNBC's Bruce Beck, the team's president remained confident, pointing to new coach Jeff Hornacek and the Knick's front line as a reason to be optimistic.
"I don't know what's so great about what's out here in the east," Jackson said when asked if the Knicks could be back in contention next season. "We could fill that role."
Jackson also praised Hornacek and is confident that his personality will easily gel with the team's young talent.
