Georgia Tech opens spring practice on Monday, and on offense, the storylines once again start with quarterback Justin Thomas.
After a stellar season in 2014, Thomas’ numbers regressed dramatically last year, a product of massive personnel changes around him, as the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer points out.
Thomas probably tried to do too much and took more risky chances he should have, something he deemed necessary because of the young team around him. He also took a physical pounding and was far from healthy the last three games. No player needed the season to end faster than Thomas.
